Swope Health MA training program - Swope Health, Metropolitan Community College, and the Full Employment Council have partnered to establish a high-quality, six-month program to train certified medical assistants at no cost for most participants. Once hired into the apprenticeship program, participants are trained from curriculum designed and delivered by Swope Health and MCC healthcare professionals.
Swope Health Village - A $130 million, multi-phased, master planned development that will offer affordable senior housing, behavioral health units, community spaces, and support services on one East Side campus.
Swope Health Women and Children's Center Midtown - Swope Health will provide women- and children-focused integrated care in a new Midtown location, advancing our strategy to deliver specialized care to targeted populations in purpose-built clinics. Shifting these service lines to this building will also build capacity at Swope Health Central, our largest site, to accomodate the Swope Health Family Medicine Residency Program and other forthcoming initiatives.
PACE KC - Programs of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly is offered at a new day center near Swope Health Central at 4141 Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd., Kansas CIty, MO, 64130. PACE KC's interdisciplinary care team will offer whole person care and social services in a warm, welcoming day center built with the needs of the elderly in mind.
KidsCARE - An important priority of Swope Health, KidsCARE offers school-based primary care. KidsCARE satellite clinics are located at Emmanuel Family and Child Center, Operation Breakthrough, Excelsior Springs Early Child Center and University Academy. Additional sites are in the works.
Swope Health Community Celebration Event Support - Swope Health hosts an annual Community Celebration at the Loews Kansas CIty Hotel. This is one of our major annual fundraising events, with funds used toward the Patient in Need Fund which provides prescription and eyeglass support for patients who are uninsured.
Support for Swope Health Where it is Needed the Most - Swope Health serves over 54,000 people each year on both sides of the state line. Unrestricted financial support helps us to strengthen, improve and grow Swope Health.
A Memorial or Honorary Gift - Swope Health gratefully accepts gifts in honor of, or in memory of, a person you would like to designate. These gifts will be acknowledged to the person honored, or in the case of a memorial gift, to the family of the deceased. Funds will be used where support is needed most.
